Setting Up Flexible Forms

Flexible Forms allow you to easily collect user information through customizable form fields and use that data in your chatbot flows. You can design your own form, choose which fields to include, and connect it to any part of your flow.


How to Create and Add a Flexible Form

Follow these steps to create a flexible form and add it to your flow:

1. Create a New Form

  • Open your dashboard and go to Settings.

  • Click on the "Flexible forms" tab.

  • Click the "Create new form" button.

  • Choose the fields you want users to fill out in the form (e.g., Name, Email, Phone Number, etc.).

  • Once you're done configuring the form, click "Save form".

2. Add the Form to a Flow

After saving the form, you’ll see two options:

  • Click "Go to the Flow builder" to immediately add your form to a flow, or "Just save" to go to the list of forms.

  • From the Actions menu in the form list, click "Add to the Flow builder".

3. Insert the Form into a Node

  • In the Flow Builder, select an existing node or click the "+" button to create a new node.

  • In the node’s settings, click "Add action" and select Form as the action type.

  • In the dropdown menu, choose the form you need.

4. Connect the Node to Your Flow

  • Make sure your new node is connected by dragging from the node’s Out to the In of the next step in your flow.

  • Arrange your nodes as needed to keep your flow clear and logical.
